Q: I Am Just Confused!!!

Ok, where can I start. My last period came on july 20th and my cycle is 3 days late. I thought af was coming on thursday the 17th because I had a cramp that lasted for about 10 seconds or so. I figured the cramp might have come from me riding my bike or something, cause I ride 8 miles 5 days a week. Besides that my nipples have been sensitive, this doesn't happen when my af comes on. I have been really tired lately. I am tired all day at work and when I get home from work around 3:30pm I have to take a nap. Also thursday I wanted some pepperoni pizza from pizza hut. I ate 3 slices and when I got on my 4th slice I throw it all up (i was hungry, lol). I have been feeling really nauseous before, after, and during meals. I can't sleep at night and I get so hot at night. Oh yeah I have been really thirsty lately and diarrhea (sorry for the tmi) like symptoms. Now I am figuring the diarrhea could be the cause of my symptoms. But it doesnt explain why my af is late and my breast being sensitive. Can someone give me a little advice. Could I be pregnant? I have had unprotected sex with my man, but we have been doing the :? Withdrawl method for about 8 months. Has it caught up with me and I am finally pregnant, or is it just me having diarrhea? Sorry so long... And thanks for any and all advice.

The withdrawal method isn't a method it's a chance.

So yes you have every chance of being pregnant.

When a man withdraws he has still deposited 100's, 1000's of sperm inside you.
If he comes inside you then he deposits millions inside you and it only take one.

If you are already late for your period it is time to take a test.

Good luck

I Will
I wont to wait at least 7 days before testing because I have been a few days late before. The only thing that concerns me is the symtoms along with me being late.

First response is a test you can take 4 days before your period is due.

As a rule of thumb *most* pregnancy tests will give an accurate result by the day your period is due.

If you are irregular or often late then it's up to you if you want to wait a week and see if af turns up :)

Alright ladies, I just took the test and it came back positive. I am happy, scared, nervous, and confused. I took the first response an hour ago and 2 lines showed. Sometimes they can be defective so I am going to take the second one in the morning. Oh my gosh!!! If the second test is positive also, what is my next step?

Congrats!

While you are waiting for a doctor's appointment (sometimes it can take a while, and some do not see you until you are 8 weeks along), be sure and swing by the pharmacy for some otc prenatal vitamins to take until you can see your doctor.
