Q: Does PT (physical therapy) come BEFORE Surgery?
asked by: DoctorQuestion on August 20th, 2006
Should I do physical therapy before I have my rotator cuff surgery? My doctor has recommended it but I am not sure. This is my 2nd doctor opinion.

By protocol, surgical therapy is usually recommended after physical therapy. For an expert opinion, you can consult an orthopedist.
