Ruby Vs. Yag Laser

I am getting my tattoo removed by tattoo md laser clinic in la. They used a yag laser on the black part and a ruby laser on the blue.
Has anyone heard of using 2 lasers on the same tattoo?
It seemed like a good thing - one laser for one color, another for another. The healing has been no problem.

Any opinions out there?
