So I found tick on me one morning in a very strange place, the head of my penis. It had attached itself there and surprised me quite a bit. So I pull it off but apparently there was a tiny part of it that didn't come out that I thought was just redness from the bite. I pulled the rest of that out like a day or two later. The tick wasn't on me for any more than 12 hours max, I know that much. I also know that it was most likely just a dog tick or something since it didn't have a white spot on it's back and was about the size of a watermelon seed. This all happened maybe 2 months ago and I haven't had any symptoms of anything whatsoever. No bullseyes, weak joints, nothing.

So here's my question: why would I still have a hard bump where the tick was attached after all this time? There's no circle or redness around it but this bump is not going away. I figured maybe it'd just take a while to heal in a spot like that but I usually heal from things pretty quick in general and this has been a while. Is it possible that I could still have some sort of microscopic piece of tick still in me that won't allow my poor penis to heal and look normal again or what? Any help would be appreciated.

Tick Bite
Hi :) just kinda an fyi..If you get bit again by a tick, get the tip/end of a needle hot (with fire/lighter) and touch the hot part to the butt of the tick...Normally the tick will back itself out of the skin. :) good luck! Btw, you may wanna see your doc just in case!

Tick bites, Insect Bites
Very Important... I was recently bit by multiple ticks and had a reaction that caused small red little bumps all over my body... I was in extreme discomfort and found out on this site that many other people have also had tick bites that bothered them for weeks and even months... By the the Grace of God i found Atomiodine, Also known as Detoxified Iodine... This i discovered in the Edgar Cayce Files and it worked!!! When other anti itch creams only worked for a little while the Atomiodine worked and seems to sting the itch right out of me... Amazing!!! This is a must try for anyone that is suffering from Oversensitivity to Tick bites and has red swollen dots or any other insect bites... I can not say this enough, i have walked in your shoes, Up all night itching away, No Joke this Worked... I would not have taken the time to sign up for this if i didn't feel so strongly that this could help you... Esp with Tick bites that some say the
itching can last for weeks and even months... Bless you All....

You can purchase Atomidine on the web...
"Atomidine is a commercial product which is sold as an antiseptic for cuts, sores, infections, insect bites, and skin rashes. However, Atomidine is also often taken internally in minute doses as recommended by Edgar Cayce as a glandular stimulant and purifier. Atomidine contains 1% iodine trichloride and other unlisted ingredients."
