Hey doc im a 28 year old male and for the last 2months or so I have had a popping and or crackling noise in my ears when I swallow or yawn!!!

Before this happend I hadn't had a cold or a flu I have not beforeor during had any earache or sinus pain or sore throat, stuffy nose... Nothing!! Just this stupid popping stuff.

I went to my doc and he said that there was never and isnt any infection at all (this was confirmed by another doc). He said something about my eustachian tubes but none of the nasal sprays or deconjestion stuff worked......

Any idea?? Im just really annoyed

thanks

Hi :) I wanted to respond to your msg. I am not a doctor, but I am a ma. (fyi:) I wanted to say that I find it weird that a doctor would prescribe or have you take nasal drops or a decongestant esp if you have no infection or nasal/sinus problems. I did alittle research when I read your post (on google) and there are no real answers to your question. I suppose as long as you do not have an ear/sinus infection or have no pain than I really wouldnt worry about it. If you have any problems with the above mentioned at anytime, let me know and I can give you some advice as to what you can do..Other than antibiotics. Good luck :)
