Hi I am new to this forum thing so I am not sure where I should post this question. When should I take a hpt?My hubby and I are not acually trying to concive but these last two months we have been less careful about always using a condom and we have been talking about how great it would be to have a baby. Well in june I totally missed my period and after 3 neg. Hpt we figured it was just stress or something and last month I had a normal period but a little early. Now I am four days late and I am hoping I am preg. (we have been having unprotected sex since I missed in june) can I take a hpt now or should I wait? I just don't want to get my hubby and my hopes up and then have them smashed. Any advise would help! Thanks!

Yes as you have missed your montly period you should take a pregnancy test. If it comes out negative you can always take another one a couple of days later. Good luck
