and just recently I have been getting itchy from them after I pet them and stuff like I dont know what to do should I send them to the humaine society???

I've never heard of that happening during pregnancy. Maybe instead of getting rid of them, give them to a friend [or two friends] to keep until after your baby is born.

When I was pregnant my obstetrician told me that you are more likely to develop sudden allergies because your immune system is dampened down in order to prevent your body from rejecting the baby as a foreign body. Since I have allergies anyway, I was told to be extra careful.

I think it would be a good idea for you to let someone else look after your pets, either temporarily or permanently. I know it's hard to do though because they are like part of the family.

I agree with happybaby. Its hard to get rid of the furballs, but its best for your health and the baby. I hope you aren't currently changing the kitty litter...That's a no no...I love cats and dogs! I don't have a pet, but I still have lots of allergies, and I think i'd go crazy if I had one right now.

Allergies can start at any time in your life. What you can today doesnt mean you can tomorrow..
