Hello all,

my name is lorena and I wanted to introduce myself and tell you a little about my situation and hope that someone has advise or is going threw the same situation.

I am 31 years old, I have a 11 year old son that I had w/my ex husband. About 5 years ago I had a miscarriage when I was about 8 weeks. I been with my husband for about 3 years now, the 1st 2 years we were dating we did not want any kids, so we use the pull out method. It seemed to work, I did not get pregnant. We married a year ago and we decided right away to conceive, well it has been a year and I have not gotten pregnant. I have use the stick to predict when I am ovulating and it never shows positive. Now we are going to a fertiliy doctor and so far he did an ultrasound to look at my ovaries and he said my ovaries look really good. He checked my thyroid and it is fine, I got a physical and the only thing they found out is that I have anemia, so they put me on iron pills. Tomorrow my husband is taking his "little soldiers"....What he calls them to get tested to make sure they are ok. Anyway just wanted some feedback on what you girls thought. My doctor said that if I had a son and gotten pregnant before I am not infertile, but my period has not been very regular lately. Thanks for reading........Lorena

hm. I can relate to you, I have been with the same guy for seven years, I am healthy, and eat right and I haven't been pregnant yet. We have been trying but I haven't had my period since february. I had an ovarian cyst in january, but still haven't had a period. I was on bcp for about three months last year to regulate my period and decided to take it off that following august to conceive. I was regular til that january.

Anyways, back to your situation, how often do you guys have intercourse? Have you tried using ovulation sticks? - desiree

Hi desiree,

sorry to hear you are having problems too. I use the stick every month to predict and either I test to late or to early..But I never can get the exact days I am ovulating. It is such a pain......But now we have to wait and see what the results say...I have to wait till I get my period and on the 3rd day I have to go and have some blood work for my doctor. Will see, has your b-friend been tested? Thanks for reading.
