Q: Missed Pills Question

Hi, sorry i'm going to sound very naive here, but I would really appreciate it if someone gave me some advice because I don't know who to ask.
I've been taking the pill (ovysmen) for 3 months, this is my fourth month. I started taking it on wed, forgot thur, took it fri, forgot sat, took it every day until thurs when I forgot again. I know I sound really stupid, i've never forgotton before and I had some bad news.
Then I took it as normal the next day, and had unprotected sex on monday. He didn't ejaculate, but should I get the morning after pill anyway? I've just read that you should take the forgotten pill as soon as you remember, which I didn't do.
Could someone please give me advice- should I go to my doctor/family planning clinic or should I not worry? I'm really confused and scared. Is it right that the morning after pill has to be taken within 72 hours of having sex?
Thanks for any help.

The morning after pill should be taken within 72 hours for maximum efficiency, but i've heard it can be taken within a week of having sex. As for your missed pills, why didn't you take the missed pills as soon as you were able to? If you simply skipped those days all together, then you may be at risk; you may be at risk even if you took each one the day after, in a double dose with the correct pill for the day.

Sorry I didn't know you were meant to do that, I realised too late. I went to the doctor this morning anyway and got the morning after pill, fingers crossed it's going to work as it was 68 hours afterwards :s
thank you very much for your reply
