Hello,

we had our 4 week check yesterday and the maternal health nurse said that her belly button hasnt healed properly - its still sticking out ad there is a red gooey lump that pops out, I think the problem started with g? She told me to put betadine on it and if it doesnt clear in a week it will need to be burnt off.

I bought betadine but the instructions said not to use on babies under 6 mths.

Does anyone know what I can safely put on it? Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know the salt water salt to water ratio?
