Q: Genital Iching?

I have been getting this itch at the base of my penis, on the left side, should I shave would this help while cleaning, it seems to only come around noght time,i scrached it whitch I probly shouldent have now its raw, its ususaly just red, always in the same spot, plesae im 14 should this be happening.

Please help :|

No, you shouldn't shave you may just worsen the situation. When the hairs start growing, they could become ingrown, get infected and hurt even more.

The itching could be fungus or scabbying. I would see a dermatologist if I were you. Before that, you may try some kind of antifungal meds but you need to ask correctly at the pharmacy, so you wouldn't get the wrong antifungal drug.

penis rash?
I have had a rash on the penis head and under the scrotum for the last 8 years. Used covospore which relieved for some months, but now has no effect. If i wipe the penis head just before bathing, it appears that a layer is forming around the head (normally opaque when not disturbed). Been to the doctors with various treatment, but it gets imbarrasing to drop your jocks for a nother man, or woman. Any suggestions other than a doctor. Is this normal?
