Tomorrow, tuesday, my father is going into the hospital to have cosmetic surgery. His doctor told him that he has skin cancer on the upper part of his nose and it has to be removed. They are going to put him to sleep and then do the procedure. They will also graft some skin from somewhere and "patch" the spot that they removed. It is an out patient procedure. He is 78 years old.
I guess my question is, is there any real concerns that I should have for him? Is he in any danger given his age and that he is going be put to sleep or this is a common procedure?
How long does it take?
Thanks for your help.
