Q: Miscarriage?

Hi there, I was hoping someone here would be able to tell me for sure whether I had a miscarriage or not. About a month ago, my period came 3 days early for no real reason, but I didn't really worry about it because up until about 4 months ago I had been irregular as anyone can be. Well, about a week and a half after the last day, my breasts began to hurt (as they do before I get my period), and I thought that was all it was. I had quite a few other things to worry about other than that, and even though I thought it was early, I didn't really get concerned. Well, about a week after that, I began to feel sick in the mornings. I didn't vomit or anything, just a sort of, sick to my stomach feeling. It steadily got a bit worse each day, but only lasted a few hours, until this past friday (which would be a bit less than three weeks after the last day of my lmp), when I felt sick as a dog all day, along with really bad cramps in my abdomin. Well, I thought it was just my period even though I had never felt that sick, or had that bad of cramps ever. Later that day I ended up passing some grayish tissue, even though the bleeding was lighter than it should have been. Wasn't much, but enough that I noticed, and started to take a second look at everything. Some small red clumps passes yesterday. The bleeding has gotten a little heavier than it was, but still not normal. So I would really like to know, did I miscarry? Would I even know? Or am I worried over nothing? (and no, from what I know I wasn't pregnant, and yes, my boy and I do engage in unprotected sex, and are fully aware of our actions, and know we're basically playing with fire..)

Go see a doctor. If you think you may be, or may have been pregnant. Go see a doctor and get yourself checked out. Very often miscarriages can cause massive blood loss and you'll need a d&c to clear out all the tissue.

If you know you are 'playing with fire' and could be pregnant then i'm not sure what you are asking...Since none of us could tell you if you are pregnant or not...

You did have some signs of pregnancy, but those same signs come along with just a regular stomach ache, growing boobs, or the state of your period.

You may want to consider getting on a form of birth control, which will help to make your period more regular.

As for the playing with fire bit, if that is what you choose to do, go ahead nobody can stop you. But for the safety and health of yourself, you need to contact a doctor and go and get a pap smear done, let him know the same things you told us, and see what he thinks.

Good luck.
