I've been on tri-cyclin lo for about four months, and I didn't have any physical problems from the pill until the last month, which followed a rather stressful time (unexpected breakup). I take the pill religiously (the latest i've taken any pill was two and a half hours later than my normal regimented time). In the last week of hormones, I had breakthrough bleeding to the point where I was using a tampon for several days. However, now that i've been off the hormones for four days, i'm not bleeding.
