Hi,
i have a friend who is painfully thin. He is so embarressed about his body. But he doesnt know how to put on weight. I want to help him, he said he would like me to help also. But I dont know how someone like that puts on weight, because i'm sure he has really fast metabolism. So even if he ate loads I dont think it'd make a difference. Does anyone have any advice that I can give to him, please....

Hi.
What have you and your friend decided to do? Have you ever tried something? Maybe seing a nutricionist could help, because they can evaluate your friend's metabolism and make a meals plan. :)
i hope you get to help him!

Hi, we havent done anything yet. I have spoken to one friend who suggests maybe herbal things, but obviously not a long term thing. I dont think hes registered with a doctor in uk yet and I really dont think he'd go as hes so embarressed. I definetly think a meal plan would help, like telling him exactly what to eat and when. Like does he need carbohydrates or proteins? God knows! I only know how to lose weight!! But i'll keep searching for him.

Well, that's exactly what the doctor could tell you. :) it's always better to talk to a doctor, because they have experience and sure know what they are doing. Even being shy, your friend could give a try, don't you think? Carbs give good energy, but he needs everything: fruits, meat, bread, etc., to be healthy, ok? :) make sure that he doesn't skip meals and that his lunch and dinner are complete, sitting at the table, and not a sandwich or so eaten in a hurry. That could be a help. :)

cheers!
