Well thanks everyone my mind is now at rest. I thought I had something dreadful because I too have been feeling that my throat is tightening. My doctor gave me antibiotics in case I had a throat infection, but they haven't worked. I have been under alot of stress though and he said that this may be the cause of my complaint. The thing I dont like is that many people here with similar complaints have had them for months or years. This would really restrict my life if it was to continue as I find it hard to do even minor jobs or go shopping etc. However, my husband gave me one of his tablets for anxiety and the feeling got a little better. Have any of you been put on tablets to treat anxiety or stress and do they make you feel better? Thanks again everyone, I really feel so so much better. I hope you all feel better soon. Also has anyone over come this, is it a lifetime thing? Good luck all
