Hi,
5 weeks ago I had a meniscus repair done to my right knee.
After two weeks I removed the stitches, but my knee is still swollen, and my leg feel numm (or whatever you call it when the feeling goes down, can't feel it if i'm scratching it). This numness goes on about 20cm down below my knee on the right leg. Is this numness normal? And that it's still swollen where they cut in my leg

thank you, and sorry for poor english ^^ i'm norwegian :)

Miniscus Repair
I had a repair done 4.5 yrs ago and it never slowed me down. No numbness, no pain but the surgery was done arthescopicaly. I had the surgery on a thursday and tuesday I started school as a hair dresser. The school was not happy when they saw me come in on crutches and I had to get a release from my doctor who told them I could do what ever I was up to. I experienced very little problems. I would suggest that you see a physical therapist who can tell you what you need to do to get your range of motion back. Pushing yourself is a good thing. Good luck.
