Q: High Liver Enzymes

I am 19 years old and have very severe psoriasis which covers nearly every inch of my body. I have been to several dermatologists and have finally found one at uab hospital in birmingham alabama and he wanted to start me on methotrexate. He requested blood work which I happily done. The results came in and I have high liver enzymes but I was not told what the number was. I have to have a liver biopsy done now and I am extremely nervous and scared quite frankly. I do not drink, smoke, do drugs or anything like that. Could someone please give me some reasons for my enzymes being high? I have also been getting these dark purple risens on my waist lately and if they pop the blood is extremely dark and thick looking..Could that have something do with my liver?
