Hello, i'm 17 years old and i've been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder. Moreso, I have an ocd about my health. Yeah, sounds like fun.

Anyway, I wanted to describe these "symptoms" I am getting in order to figure out if my concerns are warranted or if it is simply from anxiety.

Symptoms:
feeling my heartbeat in different parts of my body
feeling my pulse against an object. Example: pressing my fingers against a desk.
Increased prodomiance of veins in hands, arms, and feet.
Muscle pain in calves (both) after working out.
Seeing floaters/luekocytes in my vision.
Pressure in nose/throat/sometimes head.

I'm worried i've got some rare kind of disease, or progeria or something. Is there anyone out there that can prove me wrong?

Nope. Its not a disese dont worry. I have ged (generalized anxiety disorder) I have all the same stuff that you have. You just need a medication and you'll be fine. Your only worrying its something worse because anxiety will make you think it is. You'll be fine

Wow, that's really hopeful to hear, thanks for your response. I've been on prozac and risperdal for a few months, but I don't think it's working. I'm sure i'll get this sorted.

Thanks again,
shadow

Extremely eHealthy
Their is also groups , learning to breathe when the pressure comes on, cbt(cognitive behavrial(sp) therapy) also some people start a journal and write everything down which helps some, relaxing exercises such as yoga and some of the others, their are alot of things out there plus we are here for you too, talk to your dr or mental health and please don't takeme wrong, I am not tryin to say or tell you that you are crazy, it is just that sometimes they know where to send you for the help you need. Their is also .E.M.D.R that has helped a lot of people as part of your problem might be coming from the past and what this does is take you back to the past by knee tapping or finger movement and it sort of relieves that part of the past. I am not a dr but I also know that you are not alone on this.

Good luckto you all!
