Q: Hemorrhoid Problem Please Help!

I have a lump on my anus which I think may be a hemorrhoid. I am really worried about it and I am too scared to tell my parents or go to the doctor. Is there anything that I can do to get rid of it without telling anybody? Please help me!

Hi, there.
I also hemmroids. I have some pills for blood circulation and try to have a nice diet: a lot of fibers (whole cereals, fruits - like kiwis and oranges are the best -, vegetables - soups and salads -, etc.), drink a lot of water.

You should tell your parents, it's a normal thing! Smile

hopefully and almost surely, it will be easier for you to go #2 and the hemmroids won't bother you that much. Try to improve your diet like this, ok? If it still annoys you, go to the doctor.

Cheers!

Talk to you your parents about your hemorrhoids. There is nothing to be ashamed of, it is extremely common condition.

There are many ointments and rectal suppositories that can help relieve the symptoms such as itching and pain. Also, taking stool softeners or a bulking type of laxative may relieve straining with bowel movements. If hemorrhoid lumps bother, it can be treated with fixative (nonsurgical) procedures, such as rubber band ligation, coagulation therapy, and injection sclerotherapy.
I had both rubber band ligation and coagulation therapy.

I didn't tell my parents when I thought I had hemorrhoids as well, but now that i've had several bumps around my anus for 2 years now, after trying treatment, I think it may be something else. Any advice?

Go to more than one doctor and tell them what you've been through and your opinion about than. Maybe doing some more further examination would be nice.
