I have really sensitive skin. Stress, heat, extreme temperature changes, as well as a few products, make my skin really blotchy and red. Sometimes, my skin is even sensitive to touch. I used to think that it was solely an anxiety thing, but it happens with just the slightest amount of stress. Sometimes it goes away within a few minutes; other times it won't go away for about 20 minutes. It occurs on my arms, chest, neck, and face. I'm wondering if there is a general technical term for this kind of condition. For some reason, I think it would make me feel a lot better if I actually knew what it was called. Also, i'm wondering if it's possible that it was caused by something I did in the past. (i.E. Overusing products not meant for sensitive skin or excessive sun exposure).

Unbearable Sensitive Skin
I have extreme stretch marks on my abdomen from being pregnant. After my second child I started noticing that my skin was irritated. As time has progressed it also has. My youngest is now 2 and I go through series of these painful symptoms, it only goes on for about 2 weeks at a time every other month. But it is so painful to have my shirt even rub against my stomach. I need some opinions. My doc said it was the material of my clothes irritating it, but before I had stretch marks everything was fine, I'm not allergic to anything, I have very normal skin, I've never had any problems! What's the deal.. Could it be that my skin is just so over stretched that the nerves aren't under the skin enough anymore, or what? What will help?

Could Someone Please Answer This Question
I have the exact same problem as jisell9036 and I was hoping that there is possibly something I can use on my skin to get rid of it or at least minimize it. I've never had a problem with my sensitive skin till now but I recently turned 18 and am asked about my skin pretty much on a weekly basis and it's really annoying to have to explain it and It's been making me somewhat depressed lately cause I've had it for years probably since I was a kid and it's not going away if anything it could possibly be getting worse. Please get back to me.
