Q: Ok, Starting to Worry....

Well monday I took my patch off. The weeks before we'd been having unprotected sex and the night I took it off we did too. Yesterday we also had sex. Oh and about an hour ago.

Anyways, my period was due late monday night, or at it's latest, last night. Well so far, nothing.

After we had sex, when I wiped myself immedietly after, before pottying, I saw a tiny spec of blood, in clot form. So I figured it was here and went to potty and nothing. No streaks, nothing.

In all honesty it reminded me of when I passed the implantation clot when I conceived with .Kayoni.

I don't know how this could've happened as i'm on the patch and have been since .Kayoni's birth.

If it does not come by tonight, or tomorrow during the day, i'm gonna have to get a test. This is just what I need. I swear i'm gonna sue the corporation that makes the patch if I am indeed pregnant again!!!

Any words of advise/wisdom?!?

Sarah

Get a different form of birth control? Lol the patch sounds like it sucks!!! Good luck hun, you'll be fine if you are but I understand your concern and not wanting to be right away. I don't have any knowledge on the situation with the clot but pleeeeease let us know what you find out :)

No words of advice but I think a few girls here got pregnant on the patch. I'm pretty sure dalicia did. This probably isn't helping...

I hope you get your period! Is it that you don't want any more kids or you just didn't want another so soon?

Good luck!

Haha I did the patch and I hated it....There are too many risk that come along with it so I finally decided to throw that crap away..It pulled my skin off and I have a huge square scar from it..--although the thing that made me completely stop the patch was a incident that happened in the town that I use to live in...A girl was airlifted from brain bleeds..She had them because she was on the patch and smoking cigarettes...--she ended up dying..So considering that I smoke ...I totally dropped that crap..

But anyways...I hope that you end up starting girl...--that would suck to be pregnant so soon after kayoni

good luck!

I know!! Lol....It's not that being preg. Would ruin my life, but I just wanted .Oni to have her quality time...Ya know?

I was on the patch for about a year before I got preg (6 months after I got off). So I mean it's not like it's foreign to my body or anything.

They've got commercials talking about the patch killing people down here...But I don't smoke. I'm sure it still has it's bad effects though. It's just the lazy woman birth control! Lol!!

I just wanted to start working soon to bring extra funds in and I had to quit when I was 5 months because .Oni was pinching nerves in my back.

I'll test if it doesn't come tonight or tomorrow. I'll keep yall updated!!

Good luck sweetie. I'm glad you're not looking at it as a disaster if you are. Have you thought about getting the coil? My friend is on the mirena and she loves it. It's apparently just as effective as sterilsation. It lasts 5 years and once you take it out your fertility returns to normal...

I hope i'm not, but i'm not gonna stress for the simple fact that that in itself could cause late pregnancy.

I told my man and he just stared off into space. Lol...

The only thing that concerns me is I don't know if I could stand the pain of birth again so soon. Ya know how after a while you forget how bad something hurt?? Well, I still can vividly remember every second of pain I endured during her birth.

I would of course go drug free again, but man, it would be like having a flashback!! Hahaha....Crazy.

Normally after I remove the patch to start my period I start cramping and getting the normal pms shortly after. This time, there's nothing. It kinda bugs me out.

The pain is bad no matter how long you leave it. I had a really short labour 2nd time around and they said be prepared for it to be around an hour this time! Lol

Yep I got pregnant on the patch, using it right and everything. I was even on it for over a year until I got pregnant with brayden. I wouldn't use the patch ever again.

For real though, get a new birth control. If your not pregnant get on the ring. I'm on it and it's comfortable and is kinda like the patch. You leave it in your coochie for 3 weeks then take it out for a week. I am pleased with it.

Goodluck

Man, shlts crazy! How is it incredibly possible!? Lol...I know it's happened. One of my closest fridn had her 2 children on the pill.

Another friend of mine got pregnant on the patch as well.

But the crazy thing is...I always have a glitch of doubt when I hear " I got pregnant on the patch/pill" but then it hits someone close to you and you're shocked!

If it were to happen to me...I think i'd have a heart attack!

Ok, dalicia, since you were on the patch before...I have a question about it. What day did you start it after your menstal cycle? Sunday or monday?

Well I started mine on a sunday. And continued to do the "sunday start" for the 1st 2 months. Well this 3rd month the pharmacy closed earlier than expected so I was left to do a "monday start". According to the patches book, that is fine as long as it's the 1st sunday or monday after your period.

Do you think that would have something to do with it maybe being defective this month?

How am I going to explain this to the family?? Hey, I have a 15 week old and i'm pregnant again and I swear I was on birth conrtol! I don't think that people are going to believe what I say.

Lets just cross our fingers...

I think your fine, mainly because how long did you have the patch off? The patch remains in your body when you take it off, for instance your supposed to remove it for a week and etc. Well you could still have sex that week if you wanted and you shouldn't get pregnant because the hormone stays in your system.

I would seriously recommend getting on another type of birth control.
