Q: Back Pain

Does back pain have anything to do with std's?My boyfriends back has been hurting for a couple of weeks now,we thougth he hurt it the way he was laying all weekend.He also said that a couple of times whwen he peed it hurt or stung but it went away.He went to the doctor today and she asked him if he has ever had or does have an std. . .I never heard of our back hurting due to this.Anyone?

Could be a kidney infection which would make your kidneys hurt which would make it feel like your back is hurting!
