The height of your uterus is 38 cms and your weeks are 38 - you are measuring right on for dates. That is what it means.

They measure fundal height (look up that term) and compare it to the weeks pregnant you are. Some women measure big, some women measure small. When the baby engages into the pelvic canal, or drops, your measurements can drop as well.

The thing is, she never goes through the things shes written. She leaves in less than 10 minutes, hardly any time for me to ask her anything. She doesnt ask if I have any questions or anything. I knew from the start that she werent a good midwife for me but I thought about changing my midwife too late in the pregnancy and im stuck with her now.

Shes coming next week anyway and she is concerned about the puffiness of my feet and ankles and me having headaches. Thanks for your input and I will certainly try but if she still doesn't help me I think ill start asking the midwife that runs my antenatal classes, even though I only have a couple with her

If she comes back just tell her to sit down and talk to you! Sometimes you just have to put your foot down and if she does not like it then that is too bad, she is not doing her job and should be reported because if you don't someone else will! Don't be shy, this is your baby-to-be and both of your health is on the line here and you have a right to know and nobody minds helping you here and I am not saying this to sound mean but a dr is the same way. I do not want to upset you in any way as you are going through enough, soon you will be holdin your baby, hope you put some pictures up, I bet you are getting excited!

Yeah shes this kind of person who kinda looks down on us 'girls' but hopefully ill work around it and ill try and speak to her about it next week and ill also speak to the midwife who runs the classes I go to tomorrow, shes alot better and probably more help
