Q: Need Some Opinions?

I started my birth control on july 16th [a sunday] - my period came on that friday the 14th so I did the whole sunday start thing. I have taken my birth control pills faithfully & at around the same time every single day since then. Just the other night, aug. 6th .. My boyfriend ejaculated inside me & I can't seem to rest easy for fear of something being up if you know what I mean.

i know that sunday starters are supposed to use a backup form of birth control for a week after they begin the pill. & I did.. As a matter of fact august 6th was the first time we had unprotected sex like that. I guess i'm a little worried. Just want to make sure my pill [yaz] is completely effective at the time.. I think it should be it's been over 3 weeks.

Please help <3

That was 21 days, from the time you started until the time you had sex. If you were told you only needed a backup method of birth control for 7 days, your birth control is already effective.

Relax. Birth control is there to provide you with the freedom of having sex without the worry of pregnancy. If you are taking your pill regularly, you are covered.

Thanks .. Guess since it's the first time semen has ever had any contact down there - it makes me nervous when I shouldn't be.

Thanks again <3

I would highly doubt you are pregnant. Hunnie, the first time a guy comes in you, you won't sit easy trust me no one does! Once you've seen your not pregnant it wont bother you as much dont worry :)

Yeah my bf takes on the same attitude haha!

But he actually says I told you so - just to throw it in my face that i'm a worry wart I reckon :) but I think at some point in every girl's life she has that right to be worried .. It's natural <3

thankssss !

yes. That is why birth control is so nice. We now have complete control over when (or if) we will ever have children. Imagine in the 'old days' when they just got pregnant whenever and often.
