I just started the pill about a month ago but i've always practiced safe sex. My boyfriend and I had sexual intercourse on wednesday and the condom broke but there was nothing in the condum. Then on sunday I seen a medium brown color discharge in my underwear and it continued today. I also stopped taking my pill on friday. Should I be worried about being pregnant?

You probably shouldn't have stopped taking the birth control. If I were you I would just take a home pregnancy test. There are some that are very sensitive and can sense the pregnancy hormone like a week before your missed period. I wouldn't worry if I were you, worrying stresses you out and sometimes you can even make up symptoms and that just makes the situation worse. Like I said, I think you're fine, but just to put yourself at ease wait a while and take the test. Good luck!

Birth contol always causes side effects such as spotting even if it is in the middle of your cycle. Why did you stop taking the pill though? Maybe your body is just reacting becuase you stopped taking the pill and now it is trying to adjust to the sudden lack of hormones you are no longer taking... Thats what I think, and I doubt you are pregnant if you were on the pill durring the time the condom broke... Hopefully you were taking it the same time everyday.. That helps with its effectiveness.
