Good for you! I haven't had a chance to relax during my pregnancies since baby no.1. I was actually out clubbing when my contractions started with her :shock:

i hope you get your induction and they don't just say 'okay we'lll do in induction next week' like they did to my friend.

Why does your Dr. Want to induce you? I'm just wondering because my gyno wanted to induce, but I refused. I just never figured they'd induce unless you were 2 weeks over.

Anyways, I wish idda turned off my phones!! But we had to give directions to the hospital! Lol...The days after I didn't get to relax either!! Make sure you just keep the phone off!! I wish I would've!!!!!!!!!!

My due date is tomorrow. I was taken off of work two months ago because of complications with my hip. (i have a very small frame, and my body didn't respond well to the extra weight on my joints.) i've gotten progressively more uncomfortable throughout the final trimester and the docs told me they won't let me go past my due date. I guess they're sick of my complaining. :)

i'm about 90% sure that i'll be induced tomorrow, and 9% sure i'll be induced on wednesday. I only have a 1% doubt that they'll refuse to induce me, because dammit they promised! I think I might kill someone if they go back on that.

I was told last wednesday that i'm favorable for induction, so I don't forsee them having any problems with it tomorrow.

Oh it sounds like you will be induced then. Sorry to be ignorant but do you know what your having? (i know you've probably said before)

We're having a girl - .Alyvia. Don't worry - this place will be flooded with pictures of her soon enough!

Sarah - I was hoping to go naturally over the weekend, as my doc told me she had a good feeling it might happen. Sadly it didn't, so i'm happy to be getting induced. But i'm going to try to hold out as long as possible without pain meds. I guess it'll all depend on how strong and fast the contractions come.

The hospital is amazing, though. I'll be in a birthing suite, so i'll be delivering in the same room as my recovery. And my baby will stay in the room with me, which is awesome because I don't think I could handle them taking her away for a few hours. I'm not really nervous about the birth anymore... I'm just so ready to meet my little girl.

Ooh I don't know you but i'm all excited now!!!! Best of luck with it, I can remember the feeling of excitement about meeting my little baby and that moment when they are finally in your arms is just fantastic...No words for it!
