I wouldnt worry sam, cam weighs 20lbs something at 5 months, some kids gain weight very rapidly but it balances out and when they start to move(crawling, walking etc) they loose the weight or keep themselves toned.

I would only be worried if he was so big he wasnt moving because of his weight elisa was 28 lbs by 12 months so I wouldnt worry too much..Btw elisa has been at 32 lbs since about 14 mths the only thing I noticed is if she gets sick shes loose a pound or two but gain back in no time

Yeah--diamond said it all..Jace was also around 20 lbs at five months..Which he was 8lbs and 3 oz when he was born so he has always been bigger for his age..But now he is starting to grow into his fat because he is exercising more ...While he walks and crawls everywhere...I dont think your baby is over weight at all...All babies are different ..--i mean if he starts not being able to breathe easily or something then that would be time to worry..But I think he's going to be alright...Plus if he was over weight they would be sure to let you know at the doctor...

Kayoni is 3 months and weight 14lbs. Her doctor isn't concerned anymore about her weight like he was in the beginning. He's realized that babies just grow. Now she was only 6.8 at birth, so she's big now compared.

As long as your baby moves around and is not constricted by the weight, yall are totally fine!! Babies are known to be chubby!! It's their trademark, chubby babies are adorable!!! My angel has cheecks and rolls for days!!

I am not really sure I believe that he is 15 lbs 10 oz, because his last Dr. Appointment was only 17 days ago and he weighed 14 lbs 7 oz. Do you really think it is possible for him to gain a pound and three ounces is 17 days?? Maybe i'm just paranoid.

Yea girl. My angel had gained 3 lbs in 3 weeks and that was when the Dr. Had a hissy fit. Now she averages about 2lbs a month.

But babies go through growth spurts like you wouldn't believe!!

Being a "nervous nancy" is totally normal.

I've heard that when you become a mommy for the 2nd, or 3rd time, you're waaaay more relaxed than the 1st.

I surprised myself with how calm I am about .Kayoni!!! I was sooooo paranoid during my pregnancy, I could've sworn I was gonna be the same way when she was born. But her daddy does all the worring for us both!! He's such a mother hen!!

Anyways, i'm sure your angel is fine!! If it really concerns you, call the pediatrician just to make sure. But i'm almost positive it's gonna be nothing to worry about!!

Sam cam gained a pound in a week so its very possible, have you thought that maybe hes going through a growth spurt???


Dont worry like I said some babies gain quicker than slow down other are slow in the begininng then gain after or some babies are just normal..
