Q: Frequent Urination

I am a 19 year old female. For the past few days I have been constantly feeling like I need to urinate, but when I do, hardly anything comes out. I have to run to the restroom every fifteen minutes because the need to go is just unbearable. The worst part is that I start a new job tomorrow...What is going on, and what should I do. Someone please help!

Hi
From the sound of the urge to go and then hardly do anything, could be a mild bladder infection. Could also have something to do with your kidneys. Load up on the water, and cranberry juice. Flush out those kidneys.. I am talking about 3 quarts or more a day.Explain tomorrow that you have a mild bladder infection and will need to go to the bathroom. If this doesn't clear up on its on, you will have to go to your primary care physican and get on antibiotics! Hope this helps! Sorry you are having to go!

Thanks for your advice. I ended up going to urgent care because really wanted to know what the problem was, and it turned out to be a very, very mild uti. The doctor put me on an antibiotic prescription called macrobid, so we'll see if this helps.
