Q: Starting Solids And Waking Up 4 Times a Night! Please Help!

So logan usually sleeps through from 8pm til 8am but I introduced him to solids a few weeks ago. All was fine and dandy I was giving him one meal a day to start with and he was still sleeping hrough.

When I went away last week to see my grandma she upped his solids from once a day to breakfast, dinner and supper. Well he took to it great but then (confusingly) he started waking up 3-4 times while at my grandma's. I though maybe it was the change in the scenery (she lives in a seaside town, I live in the city) but when I brought him back here he has kept up the routine and for the past 3 nights has woke up 3-4 times for bottles.

I thought solids makes them sleep better? Even though my daughter is only 17 months i've completely forgot what it was like and as I am pregnant again this is wearing me out.

Please advise? Sorry for long post....

Could be hes going through a growth spurt...

Elisa did that to me she slept through the night from 6-7 weeks and started waking back up at about 8 months when I went back to work which was a big change supposedly any drastic change can cause night terrors as well. Anyways got elisa back onto a schedule finally by 13 months and she started to sleep through the night again

could be a few different things though
~teething
~night terrors (afraid of you leaving)
~growth spurt
~ear infection
~sleeping too much during the day
~stimulating him too much during the day

a bunch of different reason rule out sickness first then work on the other ones...

Hi I think you are probably right that he is going through a growth spurt as he is drinking bottles when he wakes. Should I give him more food or just see it out?

just be careful with the bananas and fruits, they tend to cause a lot of gas. Doctors recommend you start out with mild vegetables. Plus if you start out with fruits they will get used to the sweet taste and wont want veggies and other healthy things.
