I am not sure if there is a connection but blood in my semen appears to have started after my doctor put me on niaspan (1g) to increase my good cholesterol. I have been on the drug for 4 months. I went to an urologist and he checked me over and everything was fine. He told me not to worry and that it would go away on its own. I failed to mention the niaspan to him. It's going on at least 4 months. Has anyone experienced this condition and any advice would be welcome.
