At age 12 years 6 months my daughter had a
seizure. The days following the seizure
she was sick/nauseated would have hot
flashes followed by nausea and throwing
up. Cat scans showed nothing wrong.
Given depacote for one year/no other
episodes. Taken off depacote and on
august after being taken off depacote/had
another seizure/again nothing found on cat
scan/given tegratol. Had another seizure
in dec. 03. Dr. Said that the level of
medicine may not have been high enough to
work causing the most recent seizure.
Now for the past six weeks for about
every two weeks she becomes nauseated and
throws up. This lasts for a day or two
and she seems fine. All of her episodes
are upon waking up.
We give her plenty of time to get up and
get going in the morning waking her up
very slowly. She has hand and arm
tremors on a regular basis.
Could all of this be harmone related.
She had her fist period sept 11, 2003.
My mother said that after she had her
first period as a teenager, she did not
have another one for over a year and
during that year, she had what she
described a migraine headaches.
