Question hello everyone, I am new to this site. During my last period, there were some very odd things happening. My period was very, very bright red and I bled very heavily. I often have alot of clotting, but a particular clot was alarming to me. I was shaped like a kidney bean, about the size of a quarter. It was a firm, sack like clot that had dark red blood inside of it. I did not have any pain. I have not been able to conceive a child in many years. Could anyone give me some insight on what may have happened.

Possible Miscarriage
It sounds to me like you may have had a miscarriage, you should make an appointment with your gyn and tell them what happened and have them check you. The symptoms sound like you did.

Hope everything turns out well!
