Q: Missed Period

I had my tubes tied 3 years ago and I have always been like clockwork on starting my period. Same day, almost the same time(night time) for as long as I can remember. I am now 6 days late, two days ago I took a pregnancy test and it was negative. I figure if I don't start by monday(4 days) then I will go to my Dr. I just don't want to look silly. Is it poss. To get pregnant? I have never used protection with my husband because I just assumed I was protected, but now I am getting worried. Would a tubal pregnancy show up on a home pregnancy test? I was also told I had a fybroid tumor on my uterus.....Still small, but that was 5 months ago. Could that have anything to do with it. Anyway, no weight gain or weight loss, no change in medicine, no change in stress, no tenderness anywhere, hmmmm.... Am I just worried for nothing?

A pregnancy test should have shown up positive if you were pregnant. Some months are 'off' months in our bodies and they don't behave the same as usual.

If you continue to be worried about your missed period, seeing a doctor is not a bad idea. He can put your mind at ease.

My best friends aunt got pregnant and her tubes were tied so it is definitely possible! I would go to the Dr. And get a blood test just to make sure.
