Duration - Diabetes ketoacidosis

I would like to know how long a person would have to be suffering from diabetes ketoacidosis to in fact die from it .

Diabetic keto-acidosis is an acute complication of diabetes mellitus. It is a serious, life threatening condition. With proper therapy, death can be avoided. The possibility of death is higher if renal or heart failure is also present.
