Q: Pain in R Testicle may be from Kidney Stone!
asked by: DoctorQuestion on August 3rd, 2006
I have an acheing pain to my right testical that radiats into my RLQ (right lower quadret). This started aprox. two days ago and it went away until about 20 min. ago and the pain seems to be getting worse. i have rebounding pain in my RLQ and it rates about a 6 or 7. the pain in my testical is the same rating but aches continueously. after i have been sitting for a while and i stand up i have a streching hurting feeling in my RLQ and also cramps from time to time. i can still urinate without any pain but i'm worried. basically it feels like i've just been racked andmy kidney's hurt but i've not trauma. what can i do to reliefe the pain, and what does it sound like i have?

According to your description you are probably experiencing a stone (nephrolitiasis) in the right kidney. It is typical for the pain of a kidneys stone to radiate down to the testicle that is on the same side. You can visit your GP (general physician), request painkillers if necessary, and drink lots of liquids.
