I have had leg pain for about 2 months now. It is not a consistent pain, sometimes feels like a muscle ache (like from running or excercising too much) sometimes like a sharp pain - does not distinguish between the legs - sometimes it's the right, sometimes left, sometimes both. First time I got it extremely bad, I went to the er - they tested for dvt and ran d-dimer - negative.

Went to my doctor, she ran tons of muscle blood tests, had an mri of the head and back - both came back negative. Had x-rays of back negative.

Had the nerve conductor test - negative. Nothing is showing up on the tests and now my Dr. Is sending me to a rheumatologist for further testing and evaluation. I am getting nervous and frustrated.

At times, I am relieved when I feel pain in my lower back on right side because I think maybe the pain is radiating down my legs and that is the cause. Other times, I feel like I am destined to go on not knowing forever. It's making me anxious, depressed and scared.

Has anyone else ever experienced this and found out what it could be?
