Ok so when I first got pregnant I was told by ultrasound and by the date of my last period that I was due august 27th which would make me 36 weeks and 3 days. Well at my last appt my doctor asked me if I was sure that was when my last period was, I told him yes becuase I was on the pill therefore I know for sure based on the pill pack thats when it was. So he proceeds to tell me that my due date is to be pushed a head by a week to september 6th. Just becuase I got pregnant on the pill. Does it really make that big a difference or should I just go by the date I was orginally given? Im kinda confused here.

That does kind of make it confusing, but you shouldn't really go by your due date anyway as you probably wont give birth on that day. You're most likely to give birth two weeks either side. But I go by the date of my dating scan.

actually yeah it does make a difference because while on the pill you can ovulate at any given moment , thats if you actually ovulate.(you did!)...They go by the measurements of the baby and its a more accurate way to tell when conception happened. Although I have heard that the further along the more difficult to tell the actual due date because babies grow at different rates...

I would go by what the doctor said.Like rose said, you can go 2 weeks before or after anyhow. Was it the same doctor that told you your due date the first time?
