I'm getting really depressed and i've been cryinng every day for two months because someone I really care about has been gone but is coming back soon. I'm gaining weight, not a lot of weight but i'm getting some fat on the waist and thighs and overall I don't feel good about myself at all. I don't know what to do and how to handle all of this and i'm getting very desperate to lose weight and feel good about myself. I'm not usually like this but sometimes things an send you into bad times.

Oh and i'm also new here.

Hello and thats a shame that no one posted a relpy to this. I've noticed that alot too... Whats up with some people here?

Anyways...It seems you have situational depression. Like you said, sometimes something stressful or traumatic happens and it can take someone into a depressed state of mind. Which is why you are also gaining weight. Depression can cause that.

I think talking to someone would really help. Like therapy or maybe even just talking to a friend. I mean really opening up and actually expressing how you feel. Do you have a history of depression. Do you often feel this way or is this something that only happened due to whats happening in your life?

Oh and welcome!
