Is it safe to swim in lakes during pregnancy. I live next to lake erie (10 minutes away) and I would like to go to the beach. But, I am concerned about the safety of lake water during pregnancy. I am 22 weeks pregnant.

I know you can call some line in ontario to find out the condition of the water if it is safe I havent heard anything wrong about swimming, I find it helped cause you feel weightless and its just an amazing expierence to be able to feel weightless when mentally you feel huge lol...

Ill try and get the number for you but I dont have it on hand swimming is safe whether it be a pool/lake taking into consideration that the water is free of chemicals or harmful bacteria resulting in a closure
