Ok. 14 weeks pregnant and I started bleeding a bit. So I went to the hospital here, they determined I had a blited ovum. I was given a choice to wait it out and the bleeding and cramping will happen or I can do a d & c. I was already at the hospital for over 9 hours and didnt want to be there any longer so I went home. Well today the cramping has started. Not heavy bleeding but about as much as a normal period. But the crapping is just killing me. I really need advice on what I shoudl take or do to get the cramping less painful. Any help please!!! I have a heating pad. But it isnt helping a lot.

Honestly with this one.. I think you should probably follow your first instinct on what to do. I hope things get better for you

Take ibuprofen. A d&c is over in a short amount of time, you are asleep the whole time and wake up only mildly uncomfortable.

If your pain worsens, you should go back to the doctor.

Thanks for the advice. I eventually fell asleep last nite and I woke up this morning and it didnt seem too bad. I hope the worst part passed but who knows.

The only reason I dotn want to go back to the hospital is cuz I really cant stand sitting there for 7 hours in the waiting room. My city here has way too many people and very little amount of hospitals. So people are forced to wait many hours in the waiting rooms.

Thank you for your help and I will think about the d & c if the pain worstens again. Thank you for the replies
