I had whooping cough, was diagnosed on 7/17/06. While I know the cough can last up to 8 weeks, it's really pretty much gone for me, because I had it for 2 weeks before I was ever diagnosed. I was on antibiotics of course, and still am. However, I have a sore throat that just won't quit. I would think with all the antibiotics, I wouldn't have anything sore right now. It just concerns me that this sore throat won't go away, and it wasn't something I had during the whooping cough. (i will admit it concerns me mostly because my aunt had throat cancer).
Any thoughts?
