Q: Pediatric Stander Recommendations/reviews
asked by: special-son on July 31st, 2006

My son has cp and hydrocephalus with low upper body tone and high lower body tone. He is combat crawling but not sitting/standing yet. He is 2 1/2 and in need of a stander. I have to research which stander to purchase without assistance of a pt as we are living in korea for a year. Looking for recommendations/reviews or links to sites that have reviews.
Thank you for your consideration.

I have listed some websites that have pediatric standing frames available. We have and love our Rifton standing frame (for our 5 yr old). With low upper body tone you will want a chest strap, maybe a reclining frame. Just search pediatric standing frame and you will get more info than you know what to do with. Good luck finding what you need.
