I am a 33 year old man having erectile dysfunction. I have a slight erection (not full and strong enough). During the night I do only one act, and this happens twice a week. Despite the not hard erection I have a speedy ejaculation. I must say that I have had a normal and without problems sexual life before.

The disorder that I have takes place in the early months of the year 2005, February-March. It was during the time I was relaxing myself before sleep that I felt something moving in the area of the left testicle and above it along side the very root. During my journeys by car it seemed to me as if the testicle was in a bad position and even though I tried to sit differently, I was feeling the same.( I can’t say it was a real pain) It often happened that even when I was on foot the testicle seemed heavy as it was going down of its weight.

In April 2005 I went to a doctor and he suspected for an infection. The result of EKG on this date was OK. I took some medicine; Doxiciclina, Vitamin E, Ibuclin( ibuprofen paracetamol). During the time I was taking the medicine I felt a considerable loss of potence, to the point that I didn’t have any erection, not even in sleep. (involuntary)

In May 2005 I went again to the doctor and the EKG this time showed the beginning of a varicose vein. Anyway the doctor said that my problem was psychological. It looks a little strange to believe that, because during that time I was having a good time, going out with my girl which now is my wife. That time the doctor gave me Andriol, Xanax, and a kind of cream for my penis. Andriol made me feel a little bit better. During this time I had a slight ameglioration, and one night I tried a spoon of Nigella Sativa oil suggested by a friend of mine. After 2 or 3 hours I was woken up by a movement of something in the left testicle ( in the area of 10 cm above it alongside the abdomen. I think that the movement was inside the capillaries. I stood up a little worried, and I saw that the erection I had was the full and hard just as the one I have always had in my normal life. This state continued during all the night and I thought my problem was solved and I stopped taking andriol any more. I remember to be totally returned to my previous normal life, so that I was having erection even in cases when I was talking to a woman. I continued drinking this oil every day in the morning and in the evening( 2 spoons per day), but it ceased to affect me and my condition was the same again.

In June 2005 I made a test of my prostate and it was a little swelled, which probably was the result of a previous infection. In testicles there was a slight hidrocelle and the left testicle now was a little bigger than before and very sensitive ( on touchment), which made me to be very careful not to damage it. ( I know that the left testicle is bigger than the right, but I’m convinced that before my actual problems, they have been equal in size.)

In September 2005 I took some analysis of my sperm and it showed no infection, but the movement rate of spermatozoids was inside the norms.

In October 2005 I do some analysis about diabetes and some other hormones like; Testosteron, Prolaktine, LH, FSH which all were inside the norms.

In December 2005 I tried a medicament called Procomil (Yohimbine) that had no effect.

In January 2006 I tried Tritticon (trazodon clorhidrato) but the condition remained the same. Now I can manage to have approximately 2 sexual interactions a week, (only one interaction in night) and, however, the erection is not hard and there is a rather speedy ejaculation. During the sleep I sometime have and sometime do not have erection, which still is not hard enough. If I leave myself without sex for a long time I loose the involuntary erection during the sleep, and it happened as well when I have interaction nights after night (ex 2-3 night). When I do any interaction usually during the night and in the morning I have the involuntary erection.

I want to stress that I have been taking an antihistaminic named Zirtec for approximately 40 days a year (May-June), 8 years now. One of the causes of Erectile Dysfunction is also the damaging of the capillaries. What I want to know is whether varicose vein causes impotence or not. Or else what is the reason that I am having Erectile Dysfunction and what is the way to solve it.

It has been noticed an enlargement of 3mm in the valsalve.

June 01. 2005

The volume of prostate 17cc, seminal with a diameter of 10mm clean content and expressed echo density, with rare punktiform calcifications.

Test dex 24x52 with a volume of 20cc, light hidrocele, no varicose vein, no enlargement of the Plax pampiniform’s veins, no blood return during the test of valsalva.

Test sin normal dimension ( it doesn’t give any size or volume). It has been noticed a 3mm cystic formation, with a more distinguishable hydrocele than the right side. No returning of vein blood during the valsalva trial.

The EKG shows that the indices of the arterial and renal vein circulation in sex organ are normal. Normal filling and outflow of cavital bodies of penis and there are no thrombosclerotical differences. No vascular pathology in the sex arteries of penis, testicles etc
