Again I would suggest you switch birth control...Since hormones of course causes you to lose hair...I suggest you try something non-hormonal...Since you just had given birth try using iud copper...It is very effective even more effective in preventing pregnancy than the pill..Plus no hormones..No pill to take everyday...And last for 10 years...Ask more questions and i'm very glad to answer;-)

I've been on yasmin for about 7 months and haven't had any problems.. Maybe alittle loss of sex drive here and there but it seems to work just fine.

While not nearly as effective as an iud, my wife found vaginal spermicides to be a fine method. She felt uncomfortable with the doctor inserting an iud into her uterus and she can't use any hormonal methods.

I would say, seeing as how you're only 16, switch your birth control pills, and use a condom. You shouldn't use an iud, and your doctor (at least a respectable one anyway) won't allow it unless you are engaged or married (which you might be, I have no clue.) an iud might make you have a false sense of security, it will prevent pregnancy, but it won't prevent stds, which are more common than you think (my school had 50% of the yearly blood drive's blood rejected bc of the high # of infected students). Be careful and good luck finding the right option.
