I think you are smart to rule out any physical causes but it does sound like anxiety may be your problem here. It sounds like the way you are thinking or processing your thoughts is what is causing your panic about your various symptoms. I have always struggled with my thoughts but now that I have leanred to use the tea form to counter them in my cbt group I am feeling so much better. You should try and join a cbt group and learn how to counter your thoughts. The tea form exercise is the exercise that has helped me the most but I do all the ones in the book called been there, done that? Do this! By sam obitz that we are used in our group. It's a simple book with lots of common sense and I recommend it also. I just finished my group and can't believe how much it has changed me so far and hopefully for forever. Good luck to you.

Meditation Can Help Tremendously
Many studies have shown that meditation 10 - 15 minutes a day can help reduce stress and anxiety enormously.

The most studied technique in meditation(and the most famous) is actually trancendental meditation which you can view at http://www.Tm.Org

but you don't have to do traditional meditation alone, check out this link http://www.Learningmeditation.Com/relax.Ht m for a different way to spend time in "meditation".

If you want to learn how meditation has helped many overcome health problems(including digestive problems) and other research check out

song- in my experience with anxiety I am learning that you need to treat the root causes of the anxiety (your misguided ways of thinking and processing things including your symptoms) and not the symptoms themselves. Otherwise you will end up in a vicious cycle of more and more symptoms and anxiety. Both cbt and meditation beat the heck out of worrying about and having doctors treat all the symptoms. Only you can take the steps necessary to help you. Good luck.

Two Things, Brother
Exercise, cbt and cook chicken and veggies in a wok. Constipation will be gone, the aerobic exercise will cleanse your body, and the cbt/tea forms (like in the obitz book) will cleanse your psyche.

That's too bad if he never came back because that was really good advice. You sound similar to my cogntive training therapist and we used the tea form and that book in my group also. I use the tea forms all the time to keep my anxiety from flaring up again.

Hi Cece and welcome on board here. Thanks for the compliment and let me return the favor by saying it's always good to have other fans of cbt and the tea form here trying to help share what worked for them with other people who are not as far along in their road to recovery.

Me too cece, keep working at the tea forms and you will continue to make even greater progress if your experience is anything like mine with them.
