Q: How do I treat a Herpes outbreak?

I've been getting herpes outbreaks on my lips for more than 15 years. Recently, it has been happening almost monthly. What can I do to prevent an outbreak? and how can I treat an outbreak so that the cold sore will go away more quickly?
