I had all of the same problems that you are having. It seemed as if everyone was guessing what was wrong. I finally called my doctor and she told me to go for an ultrasound for my gallbladder. My ultrasound came back normal as well, no gallstones. She then had me go a few days later for a hida scan which came back abnormal, ejection fraction 26% normal ejection is 35% or higher. I saw my surgeon who explained that even though I did not have gallstones, my gallbladder was not working the way it is supposed to. When I would eat, my gallbladder would contract and then spasm out which was causing the pain. He also said that people with gallbladders that are not functioning correctly will most likely develop stones.
I had my gallbladder removed this past wednesday and am still in the recovery stage. At this time, I can't comment on whether it helped or not.
