I had an abortion nearly three weeks ago
and experienced little bleeding after for
a few days. Then it stopped and came back
two days later again for just a couple of
days..For a week I had no bleeding and
everything was fine. I contacted a doctor
asking if I can resume my sexual activity
he said that I can within 1-2 weeks after
abortion. The next day after having
sexual intercourse I started bleeding
again this tie heavier than in the
beginning..Is this normal or is something
wrong with such situation? Can I go for
doctor's examination or should I wait
until the bleeding stops?

Sex causes your uterus to contarct a bit
when you orgasm, so yes may women do bleed
more after sex.
This also happens during a regular period
as well, women notice that they bleed more
after sex.

No, a woman can expect a period between
3-8 weeks after an abortion. It dpends on
her natural cycle length, and if she is on
birth control.

I had a sexual intercourse 2,5 weeks after
abortion and started bleeding after that.
It stopped after few days and it was not a
period, I think it was remainder of
abortion. Then I decided better not to
have sexual intercourse until 4 weeks
after because it is recommended due to
higher risk of infection. I got my first
period 5 weeks after abortion and
everything seems to be ok by now.
