I am having horible back pain and stomach pains lately. I vomited yesterday and have has diareah the last day and a half. Also have lots and lots of pressure on my pelvis. I have heard that if your stools start to get loose your baby may come coon is that true, or is it just another old wives tail. They are talking about inducing me on the 11th of august. I would like to have my baby naturally, and have my baby and body decide. Anything I can do?

This could be a sign of labor. Are you having rhythmic pains or is it constant?

There are still 2 weeks until .August 11, hopefully your body will go into labor naturally before then.

Good luck!

Vomiting and diarrhoea can be signs of the start of labour.. If it's started then there's not a lot you can do except have your baby! Call your midwife or doctor and tell them about it.. They may be able to tell you what to do.

I have been having the same thing too. I had an an exam yesterday and her dropped and im 50% enfaced. Im getting induced on the 15th. I havent had the throwing up but ive had the diareaha. I also have constant contractions for about 2 weeks now that are so uncomfortable. I hope I do go into labour before the induction. I heard its pretty horriable. My water broke last time at 36 weeks and I didnt feel any of this pain and cramps. Its horriable. Hope all goes well for you.

I didn't have diarrhea or throw up, but every woman is different.

I had my baby 3 weeks early. Did you have sex by any chance last night?? That is what made me go into labor the morning after!!

Just call your .Dr, it might be labor, but it might be false labor.

There are different ways of determining fals from real labor. You should google "false labor" and it should come up with a list of false labor signs as compared to true labor signs!!

Good .Luck! I hope you get the natural birth you want!!! It's a blessing!!

Actually yes I did last night. I am going to have to call the consulting nurse because my midwife is on call and I am not sure how to get a hold of her. I would be very happy if I go into labor naturally. But he would be 4 weeks early.

out of curiosity, why are they inducing you? I noticed your due date is right around mine.

They are talking about inducing me because of the size that he is. My pelvis is not going to be big enough if he goes full term and I do not want a c-section.

Sorry for a million questions, but how did they find out your pelvis was too small? Were you always measuring a few weeks ahead? I am just wondering if I will have the same problem. I was 9lbs when I was born and my husband was 10lbs so I am just expecting a big baby and wondering how they can tell.

I don't know if they can more accurately measure it later on, but I know they get a good idea of how big your pelvis is from your shoe size.. Mine's quite big so my midwife said that was good news!

They did a pelvic examination. I'm not sure exatly what they were going by. Just by feel. And messuments of my sons head by ultrasound has revealed that his head is just a little two big. I'm hoping thier was a mistake in meassuring somewhere.

I'm really happy. I went in for one of my appointments today. And they said my cevix is thining, but still not open, I figure its a step. I'm not sure how long it usually takes for a cevix to open in a first time mom, but this thursday I will have 3 weeks till due date. But only a few days still posibly c-section.
